Advisers

Robin Priest. Cert PFS, ASWW.

Born and bred in Cambridge, Robin joined the financial services industry as an adviser in 1986, after 20 years in shipping and forwarding. He is a fully qualified IFA who specializes in Estate Planning; Will’s & Trusts, He also has considerable experience in designing family protection portfolio and pension planning. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers.

Robin is married and lives with his wife in Cambridge. Robin is a member of the Hawks club in Cambridge, enjoys sport, and dining out with his family.

Jane Curtis. Cert PFS, CertCII(MP), ASWW.

Jane is our most experienced female adviser. She has been in financial services for 15 years, starting her career in 1982 with Abbey and then moving to Zurich. She joined Lee Associates in 2000. She is a fully qualified IFA who specializes in Wills and Estate Planning. She has considerable experience in mortgages and re-mortgages, designing family protection portfolios and pension planning. She is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers.

Married with a family and living on the outskirts of Peterborough, Jane likes fine wine, reading and the theatre.

Richard Lee. Cert PFS, CertCII(MP), ASWW.

Richard is a fully qualified financial advisor who joined the family business in 2002. He is a fully qualified IFA who specializes in mortgages, re-mortgages designing family protection and income protection. He is a qualified Equity Release advisor and a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers.

Richard has recently married and lives in Ely with his wife. He enjoys sports, and socializing with his friends and family.

Justin Chamberlain. CeMap, ASWW.

Living in St Neots, Justin is a fully qualified mortgage adviser. He started his career in financial services working for The Prudential in 1987. Justin has considerable experience in mortgages, re-mortgages, designing family protection and income protection. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers.

From 1987 until joining Lee Associates in 2004 Justin worked with The Prudential, The Refuge Assurance Company and The Woolwich Building Society. Justin is currently studying to become a fully qualified IFA and expects to take his final paper later this year, when he will be able to offer advice on Pensions and Investments.

Justin is single and lives in St Neots, still plays football to a good standard, he enjoys all sports, and socializing with his friends and family.

Sarah Anderson. CeMap, ASWW

Sarah is one of our female advisers - something of a rarity in this industry. She has been involved in financial services as an adviser for four years now and has considerable experience in mortgages, re-mortgages, designing family protection and income protection. She is a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers. Sarah, like Justin, is currently studying to become a fully qualified IFA and expects to take her final paper in the summer of 2007, when she will be able to offer advice on Pensions and Investments.

Sarah lives in Cambridge, often frequenting the river in her rowing boat. She won the FISA World Masters in 2005 in a double scull and eight.
Sarah enjoys dining out with friends and is always planning that next holiday.

Karen Elliott. CeMap. ASWW

Karen joined Lee Associates in December 2006, and is a qualified mortgage adviser. Karen has a busy life but manages to balance her career as a mortgage and protection adviser with being a busy mother with three children under five years old. She juggles her many responsibilities thanks to the support of her husband. She is a member of the Society of Will Writers.

Christopher Clark. Cert PFS, CertCII (MP), ASWW.

Christopher is a family man who joined the financial services industry in 1998 where he began his training and qualifications with Royal London as a trainee financial adviser. He then moved into the specialist mortgage market and gained his full CII qualifications. He has also worked in both Management and Security services.

Chris joined Lee Associates this year as a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser and is a member of both the Personal Finance Society and the Society of Will Writers. He is experienced in Mortgages, re-mortgages, designing family and income protection portfolios, Pension planning, Estate Planning and Wills.

Chris is aged 40 and was born and raised in Cambridge, he is happily married and the very proud father of his two children, he enjoys spending his time with his family and friends.

Martin Leach A.C.I.B., CeMAP, ASWW

Martin was educated at Boston Grammar School, and joined an International High Street Clearing Bank in 1974, aged 17.

In 1984, he was seconded to the Peterborough Enterprise Agency, providing specific advice to people wishing to start their own business. After returning to the Bank, he gained further Banking experience working in various branch banking roles until 1995 when he became Corporate Banking Manager, operating in locations in the Cambridgeshire and East Anglia region.

In this role, he worked closely with over 100 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) with turnover ranging between £1m-£25m , providing a personal service for corporate banking business.

For over 28 years he has assisted 100’s of new and growing business enterprises and entrepreneurs realise their dreams, lending many millions of pounds along the way. Many clients remain friends now that he has retired from Banking after 33 successful years.

Married to Trudy for 25 years , they have two teenage boys, Matthew and Christopher and have lived in the village of Fen Drayton for almost 20 years.
He qualified with the Chartered Institute of Bankers (A.C.I.B.) in 1983 and achieved the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) in 2007. He is currently studying with the Institute of Financial Services to become an Independent Financial Adviser.

Martin was an active member of Cambridge Round Table for a number of years until 1997 and was a local Parish Councillor with Fen Drayton Parish Council since the early 90's and Chairman of the Council for 11 years until 2006.

His social interests include travel and sport and is a keen golfer, being a member of Brampton Park Golf Club, Huntingdon.
